10 of us went to watch 300 at QB on Wednesday right after work. The gals are looking forward to watch the semi nude 8 packs of protruded abdominal muscles. The epic story is about the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army.

KH mentioned to me jokingly that the scenery of the movie is quite blur. Maybe due to the haze. :P . After the movie, we talked about the 'Huu' and the 'Haa' shouted by the spartan and also the dudes around are motivated to go to gym after this in order to get those 8 packs. :).

I would rate this movie as 6/10. Worth to watch but can live without it.


I watched The pursuit of Happiness once i came back to my house. The story is inspired by true story of Chris Gardner. The lines that i remember most are 'You got to dream, you got to protect it' and 'If you want it, go get it'.

If you want something do you 顺其自然? or just berserah kepada Tuhan? I dont think so. When the heart goes weary, the feeling goes plain, the minds will certainly unsettled, lost in transition. Everything will not matter anymore.

Death Note 2

With high expectation from Death Note 1 movies, i went to watch the 2nd sequel of it at Queensbay Mall.

I was abit disappointed with the storyline as the directory have altered the story to suit the audience and also to end the story in this sequel. Instead of L エル (Ken'ichi Matsuyama) lost in the mind games, Light 夜神月(Tatsuya Fujiwara) lost in the battle. Comparing these 2 character, i prefer L personality compare to Light.

But i am impressed with Rem レム animation. Very nice job indeed. I preferred Rem compare to Ryuk リューク in term of the drawing. However, Ryuk is much more smarter and cunning compare to the soft hearted Rem.
