Synopsis:
I was initially not call to the lunch as i have taken my 'to go' lunch. But last minute i was called up. It is not because of the lunch but they want to pay a visit to my 'future' bird cage'. As usual, Leo and Co. cook variety of ala Baba Nyonya food style. The food is good for a King!

After the lunch, we plan to go to RH to look see look see but we are not able to enter as i havent get the 'key' yet. So we divert to Jalan Tengah for tea break.

Certainly, everyone was happy with the food, cendul & drinks.

Dreadful Traffic Jam at Coastal Highway

Everytime, when there is a festival/holiday approaching or friday evening, the road leading to Penang bridge will suffer the most dreadful jam that Penangites will ever imagine. The Jam stretches up to few kilometers. Through years of complaints from the road users lead to no improvement or a tortoise pace respond. As one of the road users, i feel frustrated with the traffic conditions.



Just imagine the flyover (from Pesta to PSDC) on the Sultan Azlan Shah took more than 5 years to build. Not to mention the 'shortest bridge in the world' connecting the main road near the Bayan Baru Big roundabout to the FIZ phase 3 took 2years just to have the structure ready and yet to complete.



This is definitely a 'FIRST WORLD' Standard from our country to achieve Vision 2020. Keep up the good work. Maybe we can submit the record breaking event for the most expensive shortest bridge in the world, the longest traffic jam in the world, the most money wasting project in the world, etc etc.

This coming April 1 is the Palm/Passion Sunday. The marking of triump & victory entrance of Jesus to Jerusalem prior to his passion. The passion here is referring to the mental & physical suffering endured by Jesus from his capture in Gethsemane to the crucification process.

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.

What can man do to me?

The LORD is with me; he is my helper.

I will look in triumph on my enemies.

10 of us went to watch 300 at QB on Wednesday right after work. The gals are looking forward to watch the semi nude 8 packs of protruded abdominal muscles. The epic story is about the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army.

KH mentioned to me jokingly that the scenery of the movie is quite blur. Maybe due to the haze. :P . After the movie, we talked about the 'Huu' and the 'Haa' shouted by the spartan and also the dudes around are motivated to go to gym after this in order to get those 8 packs. :).

I would rate this movie as 6/10. Worth to watch but can live without it.


I watched The pursuit of Happiness once i came back to my house. The story is inspired by true story of Chris Gardner. The lines that i remember most are 'You got to dream, you got to protect it' and 'If you want it, go get it'.

If you want something do you 顺其自然? or just berserah kepada Tuhan? I dont think so. When the heart goes weary, the feeling goes plain, the minds will certainly unsettled, lost in transition. Everything will not matter anymore.

JT & CH House Warming

Today another round of 2 House Warming sessions for JT & CH. Fortunately it is at 1pm coz i wuz exhausted with the house warming, late supper and FA cup match yesterday. Woke up around 11am with my mind still unsettled. Manage to grab a bun and drinks to get quick energy.
After my refreshing shower, i sing nonchalantly and have chats with frens online. We went to JT house around 1pm with almost everyone already there. 6 boxes of Large Domino Pizza, plates of Jelly and flows of drinks are waiting for us on the dining table. I am possessed by the food coz my stomach already playing drums. As usual, i captures candid shot of pics around and get some idea on house deco stuff. JT house is renovated nicely and practically. I like some of the ideas coz they are practical. :)

After 1hr at JT house, we proceed to CH house at the other block. CH house is like a show room house. It is better than the developer's show room house. The beauty and elegant of his house come with high price. He hired an interior designer.

Once we opened the fridge door, few big and loud 'WOW!!!' were utterred. We are amassed by the number of Baskin Robbins and Haagendaz ice cream boxes. Surely the appetite creeps forward. We self service on the ice cream while browse through their well manage and well documented vacation or journey pictures.

Minister Misperception on Women Bloggers

Are you a jobless woman blogger and write lies in your blog? Our Tourism minister was reported to say " Bloggers are liar, they are using all sort of ways to cheat people. According to my understanding, 10 thousand bloggers are jobless, 8 thousand of them are women."

This remark came after nilatanzil.blogspot.com related what she went through while filming Floral Festival 2007, one of the programs of Visit Malaysia 2007.

The minister also reported to say that " Blogger hate to see our country unity. Our country can achieve we have today because our citizen tolerance, else civil war will happen, Malay will kill Chinese, Chinese will avenge & kill Malay, Indian will kill everyone."

This is the least we want to hear from our Tourism Malaysia.

東姑安南：80%是失業女人網站部落客是騙子

（吉隆坡訊）旅遊部長東姑安南今日（週四，3月8日）抨擊網站上所有的部落客是騙子，其中有80%的部落客是失業女人。“部落客都是騙子，以種種方法欺騙別人。根據我的瞭解，一萬名沒有工作的部落客當中，有8000名是女人。”

東姑安南為2007年大馬GP銷售主持新聞發佈會，針對一名前電視台女工作人員在部落客指責政府官僚主義時，如此表示。出席的嘉賓聽後呆了一下，隨即哄堂大笑。東姑安南隨後自嘲自己可能因此而失去了部份女選票，不過並沒有向在場嘉賓表示此言論純屬開玩笑。他也抨擊部落客散播謠言，破壞國民團結，許多部落客是在冤枉及欺騙其他人。

“部落客都不喜歡看到國人團結。我們的國家有今日的地位也是因為大家互相妥協及容忍，否則就會發生內戰，馬來人就會殺華人、華人又殺回馬來人、印度人就會殺所有人。” 他呼吁國人不要輕信部落客，拿大家的將來作為賭注，因為大馬獨立50年來的成就是不容易得來的。“我們要向世人展示我們正面的態度，如果世界向我們學習互相妥協及容忍，世界就會變得和平，沒有戰爭及內戰。”

他說，要鑒定來馬的遊客人數，白天可到吉隆坡國際機場算排隊的大馬遊客，晚上可到吉隆坡星光大道觀光。

Joyee House Warming

Right after badminton session, we departed from my apt around 1:10pm. JY driving his car with 2 gals & me following him. 100m away from Joyee apt, suddenly a small quake with big 'BOOM' hit his car. I am not sure where is the source or direction came from. JY stop his car and we saw a bike fall on the road with the young rider on it.

The rider is only sufferred a minor bruises while his bike almost unscratched. JY car sufferred a punch hole under the rear door and scratches. The kids are very reluctant to give us their parents phone number as we want to settle the payment. All sort of reasons given just not to let his parents know this. He even willingly offer to give his IC, Student card and library card. JY took his HP number & library card while i took picture of him, the car and the motorcycle. Hopefully he wont change his hp# when JY claim the repair cost from him.

We reach Joyee house around 2pm with our stomach playing unsynchronize drum rythms. The steamboat foods are already on the tables waiting for the soup to boil. I ate the jelly with lychees and other junk foods. Actually i finished off the pistachios and doritos. :) Hopefully Joyee wont angry. The steamboat is nice and drank most of the soup.

Entering 30yr-old

Have u ever think what is to feel like when u are entering 30yr-old? It should be same right? Still kicking ass and have a sharp mind, boozing at pubs and disco, swimming for lapses, hiking for hours, jogging for rounds. Dont you feel fatique easily?

Never have i though that entering 30yr-old will have much impact on physical and mind. I used to remember lots of information ranging from passwords to formulae. But recently i found that i even have difficulty to remember my own online network password. I have been calling the customer services frequently as i had problem even to remember my login ID and my answer to the favourite question. Sleeping for 4hrs a day is acceptable previously but now it is a big NO NO.

But again, maybe it is just a hallucination. A perceive scenario. Strong mind and will overcome mountainous obstacles. However, this must be supported with a healthy lifestyle.

Synopsis:

Left Office around 6:45pm after doing some nonsense stuff at cube. I am forced to ride my housemate 'dilapitated' bike back to my apt as i was the one rode the bike to office couple of weeks ago. Since i am not familiar with the choke and the petrol flow setting, i just rode the bike using the back road. The bike stalled whenever i stop at the traffice lights. I manage to pump petrol at Petronas but the air pump was not functioning. I though i will reach home on time but the day is not stand by my side. The bike start moving like drunken kia. I know i have to stop as the tyre just lost its last breath.

In panic i call 'SOS' to my housemate to fetch me back as i have to rush for my date with 'JC & Mary' at 8pm. I think God is watching me as help came. A motor repair guy happen to be passing around and helping me to change the tyre tube and pump both tire. He even tell me how to set the petrol and choke. I feel so dumbfolded. He charged me RM15. Thats is way too expensive but what to do when it is in emergency?

Manage to reach home only at 7:30pm. I just drop my stuff at home and rush to Church with JP racing his Waja. By the time we reach HSC, Way of the Cross prayer already at the 4th station. We missed the first 3 station prayers. I have to move front to back, left to right to see the projector slides as we are seated at the last row and the CNY decoration in the Chatheral blocking the slides. The Way of the Cross and the subsequent Mass finished around 9pm.

JP & I took our dinner at Pulau Tikus Market Eatery place around 9:45pm. We ordered 2 plates of Char Kuey Teow and 4 glasses of Soya drink. The food is so so and not really filling. JP ordered extra 1 otak otak but i guess the taste is sucks as he only took 2 bite of it. The atmosphere was enlighted with a freelance singer singing multi language songs. I guess none of the old aunties and ahpek appreciate his songs as they were busy kiasuing their lok lok. After Jason came and have his soya drink, we left to WC Condo for a visit.

We asked the condo guard to escort us so that he can open the door for us to the escalator. The entrance to each building is equipped with the security system. A person need to have the smart card in order to enter and exit the place. JT play with baby Janice while we chat with WC. I didnt dare to hold baby Janice as she is only 4month old. After a while, we played 'siambalak' with Jackies and frens. I was blur from the start to the end. Thats explain why i lost RM20. That is small amount but it is the first time in i gamble during CNY. Too many things are broken during this lent season. I shall replace them after Easter and hope God forgive me.

As the nite still young, 3 of us head for drink. We parked the car at the parking area which cost us RM5 per entry. What a blood sucking place. After scouting for place to drink, we settle down at Segafredo. We seated outside in the open air with nice 'scenery'. Manage to see pretty chicks, brainless chick with dog, shemale, pickpocket etc. What a day! We engaged conversation with the tall and 'pity' waitress. She told us that she is an 18-yr-old beautician and grads from school at 15. I am not sure whether she though we are drunk or dumb. Anyway, we left the place around 2am after long chit chat.

I only have my sleep around 4am after taking cold refreshing shower. Tomorrow i need to wake up early for sport.

Synopsis:

I manage to wake up around 9am and prepare for sport. JP and I reached N-Park around 10:05am for the 2hrs badminton session. Surprisingly this time there are 15 ppl came to play with only 1 court. I manage to play 3 games while most of them only 2 games. The waiting time is killing everybody. JY tried to book extra court but there is no court available. We have to utilize only 1 court until end of March. Hopefully there will be 2 courts to use in future.

After the badminton session, we went to have our lunch at USM cafe. The entrance is watch by 2 guards. It is rather unusual but we manage to enter to the cafe. The cafe is quit quite with only 5 of us heating the atmosphere.

We went to fetch CK after dropping our gears and clean up at my apt. manage to sneak out for cold coconut drink at the road side on the way to town. Thanks to the confusing furniture shop map, we end up in unknown places. I made few calls to ask direction. At the end, we found the shop by pure luck. There are lot of furnitures in wescourt but the handwork quality is not that good. What do you expect with that kind of pricing?

We also stop by at PISA to 'look look see see' the furnitures in the shop. The quality of the furnitures is good but pricy. One good deal is that for every RM1K spent, they will give RM500 voucher. This is only valid till end of March 2007. I am keen on the Japanese bed but it will burn a hole in my pocket.

As we will go to KK house for CNY visit, we stop by at Sunshine to buy 'Kam' and 'Ong Lai'. I think that is a good 'buah tangan' cos it means gold and good fortune coming. As per plan, there will be lots of ppl coming but only 4 of us pay a visit to KK's in his house. For the first 10mins, we were watching NBA replay match and munching nuts and goodies. After a while, we start the Siambalak card games. HS reluctantly became the banker. My luck was really good as i keep on winning with many double, 1 triple and 1 fiple. But at the end i nearly lost. Luckily i still win RM5.

HS, KC, JP and I headed for dinner at Golden Bayan around 8pm. We ordered 3 dishes comprising of Groupe Fish, Vege and Bean Curd. The food is so so but the price is unbelievable. It is not worth to eat here with that kind of price to pay.

By the time we reach home. JP auto 'hibernating' at the couch before making up his bed to sleep. It is a very tiring day. We been out since morning.

Synopsis:

I lazily woke up at 6:10am and prepare for the early morning Mass. TE, BL, JP and I reached just about when the Mass started. HH & MH sat with us at the same row too. As usual, i have trouble to stay alert during the early morning Mass. I constantly fighting with my sleepiness in order to listen to the readings and sermon.

After the Mass, Its time for breakfast. 4 of us decided to go to the Dim Sum near the SEC around Queensbay Mall. They have discount promotion which make the price almost the same as the other Dim Sum eatery place. The porridge is rich and the dim sum is good. Just nice to fill the hungry stomach.

I doze off for few hrs after the breakfast. Still sleepy and tired of yesterday outing. By 12:30pm, BL, JP and I went to Cambell Street and meet up with Jason for lunch. The dark sauce siu nyiuk is tasty and fatty. The assam fish is fresh and spicy. The vege is only enuf for me alone with that small portion, The tauhu is undeniably good. After the lunch, we went for our dessert: Penang Road Teo Chew Cendol. It is revitalizing in such a hot weather. But i noticed that the price has went up to RM1.50 per bowl.

After a short stop at my apt, we dashed off to fetch CK for furniture hunting again. But JP's car got flat rear left tire and we only notice when we reached at KC's house. These 3 engineer tried hard to figure out how to change the tyre. after 15mins of trying, we still unable to take off the flat tire. Oh well, lets the tyreman do his job tomorrow then. We continue our journey with KC's beloved car and get coconut drink.

I am impressed with gcfurniture kitchen design but the bedroom furniture is not what i am looking for. Of course, the price for good kitchen design come with high price which i think i need to think many many times. I am thinking...why am i indulge in this? Renovation, furnitures, electrical appliances and other stuff for the house will cost me almost half of the unit cost. Maybe i have to start selling my 'chicken bishop head' to get those $$. hahahah...Just joking.

JP left for home around 6:30pm. WM, JW, JC, Leo, LS, SW, XS, KL&BF, LS&BF, Wil, CN and me went to Jelutong for dinner. They ordered 7 dishes complete with my favourite dish...:). The food is very satisfying but dry. We went to buy 1 bottle of Chardonay for SJ as we will go to her house for visit.

In SJ house, we play chinese version Torat cards. 1 card can predict 4 categories including career and love. I am quit blur with the explaination but some i have to take note as it really predict what my situation now. To believe or not, It is just a game. I will take note but not too fanatic about it. We mould our own future and fate is in our own hands.

As today is the last day of CNY (元宵节), we walked to Kek Lok Si Temple near SJ house to take a glimpse of the beautifully lighted temple. Manage to snap few pics of the temple before we headed home.
